The Best of Yesteryear

With fall now blowing its crisp autumn breezes through the valley chores are changing around the house. People preparing for the upcoming butchering and apple butter seasons will be excited to know that we are carrying a lot of supplies for grinders and kettles that have been difficult to procure in times past.

We have a full line of hand crank grinders as well as a grinder equipped with a v-pulley capable of being attached to a small motor. Along with our grinders we have several of the replacement parts such as augers, blades, and plates. Also, we were recently able to add some food grade silicon to our inventory which has been pretty popular.

Another exciting thing that has happened recently was finding a dealer able to provide us with USA made cast-iron kettles. These are indispensable for butchering and apple butter, but are also great for any kind of campfire cooking. A local craftsman is making these kettle rings for us and his workmanship is great.

Many who have come into the store recently have noticed our new display in the front window and made comments like "I remember when my grandmother had one of those" or "I've got one of those in my cabin." There have been many stories about our new cook stove from watching grandma cook on one to burning fingers on them and they've all been interesting to hear.
Come by and check out all of our yesteryear products and let us show you the best of yesteryear!
